Hello Changsha #1 Club!

I am an advanced Toastmaster from Seattle, Washington (USA). I have a friend in Changsha who is just beginning her study of English. I am encouraging her and one of her friends to attend your meeting. It is a challenge for her because her skill is low right now, but I am hoping she will be able to absorb the sound of conversational English and be able to participate.

Her name is Mingfang. I am encouraging her to come within the next two weeks. Please welcome her and give her this message.

You are welcome to contact me at any time. My email is "redcedar1@mac.com", I am a certified teacher of English as a Second Language, and would welcome any questions or requests for editing of speeches from your members. I am hoping to visit Changsha later this year, and would be delighted to meet with you then. I should say that I remain a member of my home club in Tokushima, Japan. I try to return there once a year to give a speech, and meet with my many friends.

Your club photo looks so enthusiastic! I can see your energy shining through. Best wishes in your English studies and your speaking skills.

Hello Everyone !

I am an AMerican living in Yiyang, Hunan and working for myself.

I am looking for paid speaking engagements in this area......and don't know how to find them! The Foreign Affairs Director in the schools in which I've worked around the country have previously done this scheduling, now, I am not working for a school and need to know how to make these contacts.

Appreciate any guidance you can provide.

Hope you have a very nice day !
